Here's what our patients are saying.
At Felix, it’s our goal to make pricing as transparent and easy as the care we provide. Here’s how it works.
Mental illness is an umbrella term for a variety of different mental health conditions such as major depressive disorder, general anxiety disorder, schizophrenia, eating disorders, and many others. Mental illnesses can cause you stress and have a negative effect on your ability to function on an everyday basis and interact with others.
Most mental health conditions can be managed by specific treatments prescribed by healthcare practitioners and by attending psychotherapy or counselling sessions with licensed mental health professionals. Other things such as getting the right amount of sleep, exercise and eating well, can contribute to mental health treatment.
Felix offers treatment for mental health conditions such as general anxiety disorder and major depressive disorder. Speak to your healthcare practitioner about which treatment is right for you.
Medication coverage varies greatly between different plans, provinces and has specific criteria that determine eligibility. We recommend that you upload your private and/or provincial benefit card during the online visit so that our pharmacy partner can apply any coverage you are eligible for before shipping your meds.
After creating an account, you will complete a medical assessment for evaluation by one of the Felix healthcare practitioners.
For patients with an ongoing and longstanding, effective mental health treatment, your consultation may be performed asynchronously, meaning your Felix practitioner will message you through your account after you submit your online assessment. You will have the opportunity to send your practitioner questions via your secure account. Practitioners may determine you require an audio or video visit, or may complete the assessment via secure messaging alone.
For patients who have not previously been prescribed mental health medication, you will be offered a 30 minute audio or video consultation with a Felix practitioner. This appointment will help determine the best treatment plan for you.
Once your visit has been completed, whether asynchronously or by audio/video appointment, if your practitioner has determined a prescription treatment is appropriate, they will write you a prescription. Our pharmacy will then ship your prescription to your home.
You’ll be able to message your healthcare practitioner if you have questions about your medication or want to make changes to your treatment at any time.
Yes. Follow-up visits help us monitor how you are doing and how you are responding to treatment. If you are starting a new medication, generally you’ll be given a two month supply. We will send you an email to start a follow-up visit after 30 days. If your medication is longstanding and you’re doing well on it, generally we will supply six months of medication. We will send you an email to start a follow-up visit after 90 days. These follow-up visits are necessary in order to obtain your prescription and continue receiving your medication.
After you complete your online assessment, we will match you to a Felix healthcare practitioner. Your healthcare practitioner will work with you to determine the best treatment plan for you. You’ll be able to message your healthcare practitioner if you have questions about your medication or want to make changes to your treatment.
Healthcare practitioners at Felix are hand-selected, qualified doctors and nurse practitioners from across Canada. They are the same practitioners that you could see at a doctor’s office or hospital. Our healthcare practitioners undergo a rigorous selection process.
Felix may be right for you if you are experiencing symptoms of anxiety or depression and are looking to have your mental health medication safely prescribed online and delivered to your door.

You can exchange secure messages with your Felix healthcare practitioner at any time, from anywhere, using any Internet-connected device. The chat is available 24/7 and since messaging is not in real-time it doesn't require scheduling. We’ll send you an email when your healthcare practitioner has replied to your message. Our pharmacy will then ship your prescription to your home.
We use Zoom for Healthcare to conduct our appointments. Our virtual visits are 100% HIPAA compliant, never recorded, and encrypted to protect your privacy.
